President's At Home : Sunday, July 25th

Valerie and James hosted members, their families, friends of Rotary and past members, to a summer garden party at their Guildford home.

The weather was perfect with sunshine all the way.

Our hosts served a splendid lunch with choice of main course and a bounty of puddings putting a smile on everyone's face and two inches on their waists.

All enjoyed a relaxed an informal afternoon with ample opportunity to rekindle old friendships and catch up on their latest news. |
At the all too soon close, Peter on behalf of the members, gave our hearty thanks to Valerie and James and their friends and family, who had all worked tirelessly throughout, to make the afternoon so special.

Presidents Night 2010 : A Great Evening

Bill and Sue hosted 40 members and their guests at the combined Final Fling and Presidents Night at Peter Webbs Barn on Saturday 26th June.

All enjoyed an informal evening BBQ with a special show by Member of The Magic Circle James Fortune. Close-up magic, where the accent was very much on comedy and audience participation, combining silly props and baffling magic. |
At the close of the evening President Bill gave a vote of thanks to Peter for his wonderful hospitality and wished everyone a safe journey home.

Our sincere appreciation to Bill for commitment and dedication to the Club and Rotary Movement.
